What Does this MRI Scan Result Mean?

Sir, I am Srinivaas, from Guntur in Andhra pradesh. My brother taken brain MRI SCAN. that report mentioned Multiple areas of subcortical white matter T2 and FLAIR hyperintensity and T1 hypoiintensity noted involving left cerebellum includeing left cerebellar peduncle, left frontal lobe, left parietial lobe, bilateral lobes and left emporal lobe . Diffuse cerebral atrophy noted as evidenced by prominence of sulcal spaces, cisternal spaces and ventricular system. please what to do

Thanks for writing in.

It is important to know the age of your brother.

The changes mentioned in the report are likely due to small vessel infarcts and atrophy which is usually seen in aging. Nothing needs to be done in this case.
